Jadi jika harddisk C: kita Freeze lalu kita menginstall / menyimpan data
di C: begitu kita restart data instalan / yang disimpan di C: akan

software lain yang kiranya diperlukan).
3. Setelah yakin sudah pas software dan tidak ada virusnya, barulah
mulai mengFreeze.
4. Jika anda menginstall Antivirus, maka install-ah antivirus
tersebut pada harddisk yang tidak di Freeze agar dapat terus
terupdate.

Cara Memasukan Htaccess Ke Public Html Di Hosting 000Webhost

Di beberapa kesempatan blogwalking saya menjumpai sejumlah pertanyaan dari rekan-rekan Blogger bahwa mereka tidak dapat menyimpan atau mentransfer file extensi .htaccess ke direktori root (public_html) via FTP (File Transfer Protocol) seperti Filezilla, SmartFTP atau FTP di hosting 000Webhost, tujuan mereka mentransfer .htaccess ke public_html semata-mata ingin merubah permalink (permanent link) Wordpress yang jelek (contoh = namablog.com/?p=1) menjadi permalink yang cantik (contoh=namablog.com/judulposting/). Namun apa daya setiap kali mereka meng-upload htaccess dari HD ke Public_html, selalu keluar pesan berikut:

STOR htaccess Response: 553-Can’t open that file: Permission denied. Response: 553-Can’t open that file: Permission denied Response: 553 Rename/move failure:

Ini berarti anda harus mengklarifikasi kepada server hosting anda, bahwa andalah pemilik sah file tersebut. Karena setelah script Wordpress terinstall kedalam hosting, maka file permission menutup akses untuk anda. Oleh karenanya diperlukan verifikasi, jika tidak maka anda terdeteksi sebagai orang lain, sehingga tidak mampu merubah, menghapus atau memodifikasi file di dalam public_html. Oleh karenanya setiap kali anda berusaha mentransfer lewat FTP maka akan keluar pesan: file: Permission denied.

Caranya mudah saja, di hosting anda temukan file yang bertuliskan : Fix File Ownership biasanya image nya seperti ini: . (Mungkin disetiap hosting berbeda namun pastikan ada kata seperti di atas juga imagenya.) Setelah itu ikuti langkah-langkah selanjutnya.

Setelah Image Fix File Ownership anda klik, maka akan muncul tulisan. Tulisannya seperti ini kira-kira:

Execute (Chown Files)

Anda klik “Execute (Chown Files)”.

Kemudian temukan file file permission tempatnya disebelah kanan Fix File Ownership, image-nya seperti ini . Dan lakukan hal yang sama seperti Fix File Ownership

Setelah itu, kembali ke FTP dan lakukan transfer htaccess.txt (jangan tulis dengen titik (.), seperti ini “.htaccess” karena biasanya akan ditolak) ke public_html pasti sekarang sudah bisa! Setelah htaccess.txt diterima di public_html maka lakukan perubahan nama “ganti nama” atau “change name” menjadi .htaccess. Finish!

Cara Install AppServ

Setelah sebelumnya Anda mengetahui cara install XAMPP, dan mencobanya .... mungkin Anda merasa kurang cocok, kini Anda bisa mencoba AppServ sebagai alternatif web server lokal kita.

Sebelum proses instalasi, silahkan download installernya di sini

Setelah Anda berhasil mendownload installer AppServ, silahkan ikuti langkah-langkah instalasinya di bawah ini :

1. Klik ganda appserv-win32-x.x.x.exe untuk menginstall AppServ di komputer Anda.

2. License Agreement : AppServ distribution under GNU/GPL License. Anda harus membacanya sebelum menginstall (kalau tidak mengerti langsung klik NEXT saja).
Jika Anda setuju klik Next untuk ke tahapan berikutnya. Kalau tidak klik CANCEL untuk membatalkan.

3. Tentukan lokasi install: secara default C:AppServ. Jika Anda ingin merubah
klik tombol Browse untuk merubah, kemudian klik Next untuk ke tahapan berikutnya.

4. Pilih Components : AppServ default package components it’s pilih semua saja lebih baik.
Jika beberapa saja. Anda bisa klik di check box.
- Apache HTTP Server is a Web Server.
- MySQL Database is a Database Server.
- PHP Hypertext Preprocessor is a PHP Programming processor.
- phpMyAdmin is a MySQL Database control via WWW.
Jika sudah klik Next untuk ke tahap berikutnya.

5. Konfigurasi Apache : Halaman ini untuk spesifikasi konfigurasi Apache.
Server Name Anda harus menentukan Server Name misalnya www.jadisukses.com.
Email Admin Tentukan Email Admin misalnya owner@jadisukses.com (kalau di localhost sebaiknya diisi root@appservnetwork.com)
HTTP Port Tentukan HTTP port untuk Apache Web Server.

6. Konfigurasi MySQL :

Tutorial ini akan memandu Anda dalam membuat sebuah CD instalasi Windows yang dapat diinstal secara otomatis lengkap dengan semua hotfix, driver, DirectX, IE7, Media Player 11, Office 2007 atau aplikasi apapun yang ingin Anda tambahkan ke dalam CD tersebut. Anda juga dapat menghilangkan komponen-komponen tak berguna, mengemas beberapa tweak ke CD instalasi ini untuk mendapatkan XP dengan berkinerja tinggi. Untuk membuat CD instalasi ini Anda membutuhkan nLite, .Net Framework 2.0 dan CD WinXP.
Instruksi
1. Copy semua konten CD WinXP ke folder lokal.

2. Instal .Net Framework 2.0 dan nLite.

3. Pilih bahasa pilihan Anda pada halaman pertama

4. Beritahu nLite di mana file WinXP Anda. Pilih “Browse” dan navigasikan ke folder lokal yang Anda ciptakan pada langkah pertama

Boot Speed:
- Boot Optimize (xalex) – Optimize system files at boot time (default is off). Performing necessary, in a few days (after optimization) is accelerated to boot.

Looking for the Best Windows 7 Classic Start Menu

The first thing that Windows 7 users would notice is that they can no longer change their start menu to a classic start menu. We could still do that on Vista but Microsoft has decided to remove it once and for all starting from Windows 7. From my point of view, Microsoft made a right move on that because a lot of times I had to first ask the person that I am helping if he/she is using the classic or standard start menu. It’s annoying to me and confusing to them when I ask them to go to Start then select Run but they can’t find it in Start Menu!

Now I’ve helped many friends and customers to upgrade their computer to Windows 7 especially those that were previously using the buggy Vista and they are really having a hard time getting used to the Windows 7 start menu. I know that there are quite a few third party program that can turn the Windows 7 start menu into classic and I am looking for a simple program that simply does just that. Before I suggest any of the software to my friends on what to use, I had to make sure that it is stable. I’ve made a simple comparison on five Windows 7 classic start menu and got my answer.

1. Classic Shell
Classic Shell is free and takes up only 1.3MB of memory. It changes the Windows 7 start menu to classic and it looks exactly the same like what you see in XP. You can navigate around the classic start menu with the arrow keys and also hitting any of the first letter brings you to the menu. Other than that, it also adds a toolbar like in XP. Finally, it can also bring back the simpler dialog box when you overwrite a file.

2. Seven Classic Start
It takes up a whopping 10MB from your memory and it only replaces the Windows 7 start menu to look like the classic one. This software cost $24.95 just for this feature alone. You can use the arrow keys to navigate around the start menu but it won’t bring you to the menu if you hit the first letter on your keyboard.

3. Classic Windows Start Menu
This is another free software that can turn Windows 7 start menu to classic. There is no setup and all you need to do is just run the executable file. Takes up 2.5MB of memory. It is possible to navigate around the Start Menu with arrow keys and also first letter from keyboard. Tested the latest beta version and it turns the menu into green color (new visual appearance).

4. CSMenu
This is free too but it takes up 12MB of memory. You cannot navigate around the start menu using keyboard as both arrow keys and hitting any letters won’t do a thing. During installation you have to be very careful or you will end up with an extra Ask toolbar on your web browser. I encountered a bug when selecting the Run from the start menu. An error window appeared with the message “when select run, i get a Microsoft .NET Framework error that says “Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately. Object reference not set to an instance of an object.”

5. Classic Start Menu
This is like the commercial version of the CSMenu above. It cost $19.99 and the program takes up 10MB of memory. It doesn’t look exactly like the original XP classic start menu. Arrow keys work but not the first letters. Run command didn’t crash like what happened on CSMenu.

After testing the 5 software that transforms the Windows 7 start menu into Classic, I’d have to say that Classic Shell, the first on the list is the best. Takes up the least memory and also changes a few other things to make Windows 7 have the Windows XP feel. Moreover it is free.

When you spend a lot of time on the computer, it is very important to sit at the right position. I spend at least 8 hours on the computer every day and using the laptop’s keyboard really makes my shoulder and back ache. One day I’ve had enough and decided to do a little research on the proper sitting position when using the computer and found out that I need to have an external keyboard and mouse. I’ve even bought an ergonomic computer chair (not the Herman Miller because it’s too expensive) and so far my shoulder and back haven’t ache for a very long time unless I use the computer non-stop for a few hours straight.
When I am away from home or work, I only carry along my laptop with me without the external keyboard and mouse. One big annoyance is my palm normally touches the touchpad while typing and that moves the cursor position to another place. I had to move the cursor back to where I was typing and then type slowly to make sure that doesn’t happen again.

On Acer laptop, I can hit the Fn + F7 keys to disable the touchpad but I found a better and more automatic way.

TouchFreeze is free and simple utility for Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista/7 that automatically disables touchpad while you are typing text. In X-Windows they already have syndaemon that does this and luckily we have TouchFreeze for Windows which probably is the only one for Windows…

As you can see at the screenshot above, there is nothing to configure in TouchFreeze. Just install and by default it auto runs when Windows is booted up. The last time TouchFreeze updated was more than two years ago but I can verify that it works on Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit. It’s a little buggy at some times where it just doesn’t work but closing and reopening the program solves the problem. TouchFreeze takes up only 768K of memory, which is less than 1MB! If you have a laptop or netbook with Windows, TouchFreeze is something you must install.

Penginstallan windows xp dari flash disk sangat berguna untuk menginstall windows xp di beberapa notebook yang memang tidak dilengkapi dengan cd-rom seperti seri mini notebook semacam Asus Eee pc. Memang bisa diakalin dengan menginstall menggunakan external cd-rom, tapi untuk lebih menghemat kita bisa mencoba menginstall windows dengan hanya menggunakan flash disk.

Dengan perkembangan teknologi flash disk sekarang yang memiliki kapasitas semakin besar maka kita dengan mudah bisa menggunakan flash disk untuk menginstall windows , berikut syarat2 yang harus di persiapkan .

1. Flash disk apa aja ( kalau bisa minimal 1GB ).

2. komputer korban ( victim )

3. komputer master , lengkap dengan cd-rom tentunya ( untuk membuat master flash disk )

3. cd windows xp

4. program untuk modul installasi

- USB_PREP8 ( download via indowebster)

- PEtoUSB ( download via indowebster)

setelah pernah pernik diatas sudah siap maka langkah selanjutnya memulai installasi windows xp dari flash disk :

langkah-langkahnya sebagai berikut :

1. Colok flash disk ke komputer master dan catat posisi drivenya , apakah di F:, G:, H:, O: dan sebagainya

2. extrak file2 yang diatas , USB_PREP8 dan PEtoUSB kedalam satu folder misalkan C:/usb ( hasil extrak file USB_PREP8 jadi 1 folder, copy smua file dah pindahkan ke folder C:/usb) demikian juga file PEtoUSB.

3. Siapkan cd instalan windows xp dan masukkan ke cd rom komputer master .

4. selanjutnya buka folder C:\USB yang sudah dibuat dan berisi file2 tersebut diatas.

5. Selanjutnya jalankan file bernama “usb_prep8.bat” lalu akan muncul sebuah windows command prompt berisi bermacam2 perintah

tekan sembarang tombol aja di keyboard.

6. selanjutnya di layar komputer kamu akan muncul program PEtoUSB yang meminta untuk memformat flash disk kamu , klik start aja langsung.

7. Jika proses format sudah selesai, tutup program PEtoUSB ( jangan tutup windows command prompt usb_prep8.bat ) di layar akan muncul opsi-opsi dari 0 hingga 5.

8. Selanjutnya pilih opsi ke 1 untuk memilih sumber file installasi windows ( pilih drive cd rom kamu aja yang berisi cd installan windows ) atau juga bisa folder yang berisi file2 source instalasi windows.

9. setelah diatas , akan diminta lagi memilih opsi dan pilih opsi ke 3 untuk mentukan dimana kamu mencolokkan flash disk kamu, kalau di drive E maka ketik e dan tekan enter.

10. setelah tahap ini pilihlah opsi 4 untuk memulai proses pembuatan modul instalasi yang nantinya akan disalin ke flash disk secara otomatis. Jawab apa pun konfirmasi yang muncul dengan Y atau YES atau OK atau bentuk persetujuan lain. dalam proses ini akan memakan waktu yang cukup lama, proses pembuatan modul instalasi / pengcopyan file ke flash disk kamu ( mungkin lebih dari 15 menit )
yang sabar aja, setelah selesai sekarang kamu sudah memiliki flash disk yang bootable dan mampu menginstall windows secara langsung.

11. cabutlah flash disk dari komputer master lalu colokkan ke komputer victim untuk memulai installasi, bootlah komputer kamu dari flash disk .

lalu dilayar akan muncul 2 opsi penginstallan, pilihlah opsi yang kedua dan proses penginstalan windows akan mulai berjalan.
